Really struggling to make it work on my aviators.

Hi Dawn,
Thanks so much for reaching out! I’m so glad you’re giving the ALTACHÉ charm a try — it really does add such a beautiful, personal touch to your eyewear.

A quick note: we are not recommended on micro-thin or wire rimmed frames. However, for most aviators, the extra-small silicone sleeve is required, which can make it a little tricky to fit over the larger earpieces onframes like aviators. I wear them on mine, but you do have to patiently and gently inchworm the extra small silicone sleeve over the earpiece and once you've done that, you should be able to enjoy wearing your gold knot charm. Tip: warming the sleeve slightly with your hands or holding it in front of a heat source (like the air vent in your car with the heat on) Will make it more stretchy and allow you to gently guide it over the earpiece.

That said, many of our customers love interchanging the charm on all of their diverse frames, so I hope you have other pairs where it fits just right and brings you joy!
