For as long as I can remember, I've been in desperate need of another pair of hands. When my son was 2, I had identical twins. When I was finally able to put the babies down, it was time to grab coffee and my phone and get back to work. And then there was the laundry, and the groceries, and the riffraff my family left lying around the house. So, the proverbial question I continually asked was: Is it too much to want both hands?
Even as the kids grew up and work went virtual and laundry and riffraff waned, I still found myself in need of a place to put my glasses. On my head, the temples stretched or mangled my perfectly quaffed pony. Crossbodies were too small for a bulky case, and, despite eyewear chains and cords being "on-trend", they just weren't for me. And then I watched the umpteenth pair of sunglasses slide off my shirt collar and shatter on a marble-tiled hotel floor in Florida.
The idea for Altaché came to me a few hours later and was nearly baked within a week. I knew I wanted it to be part of the eyewear so there was NOTHING to think about. I wanted it to be cord and chain-free. I wanted it to be interchangeable amongst different eyewear, and I wanted it to be PRETTY! Bringing the idea to life was a painstaking process that took 18 months, but I wouldn't want to live in a world without it. I hope you'll feel the same. Do me and your two hands a favor and GET ATTACHED with Altaché.
xoxo,
Haley
